Suffering exists. There is a cause. And it can be cured. This was the noble truth preached by Buddha. Why is suffering there at the first place? Why is there loss of love? Why am I here? And what is the meaning of life? Is this truly a state of mind or is there more to it? Questions like these and many more go through the human mind every now and then. Vedic scriptures state that average human mind goes through sixty thousand thoughts on any given day.
While an overwhelming majority experience suffering, only a few make the effort to delve deeper to understand the cause behind it. The rest, simply accept it as a way of life. The fundamental difference between humans and all other living entities is the ability to question. It is this very gift that has seen us grow spiritually and materially.
